Curating STEM Learning Software
1. SSSTEM consults with tech leaders and STEM educators to get the most effective learning resources uploaded onto the technology 2. We are currently using the RACHEL learning server which provides hundreds of learning materials that are available without internet and up to 50 workstations can connect to it • Examples of learning software includes: • Khan Academy, Wikipedia, Powertyping, CK-12 Textbooks for STEM education, TED talks, MIT Scratch (programming language), Project Gutenberg |
Partnering with South Sudan Diaspora

2020 Programs in Progress
- Expand the number of computer labs in Jonglei State and other regions of South Sudan
- Hire more IT and computing teachers
- Begin an exchange program for the South Sudanese diaspora community and other African diaspora individuals to teach STEM subjects in primary and secondary schools across South Sudan
- In talks with the South Sudanese diaspora community to collaborate on equipping science labs in high schools across South Sudan
- Set up an awards program for the top performing students in South Sudan Certificate of Primary Education (SSCPE) and South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE). Top students would receive a laptop from SSSTEM
