South Sudan STEM Initiative Model:

1. Form Partnerships
     • SSSTEM partners with South Sudanese schools and the diaspora community to identify schools in need, work with local community leaders and leverage existing resources from diaspora organizations.

2. Curate Learning Software
     • SSSTEM works with education and tech leaders to pre-load learning software on to SSSTEM computers
     • SSSTEM curates software focusing on STEM education from top learning materials such as Khan Academy, Wikipedia, CK-12 Textbooks for STEM education, Project Gutenberg and many other resources

3. Deliver Technology
     • SSSTEM collects and purchases laptops, monitors, keyboards, and Raspberry Pi computers
     • SSSTEM pre-loads the learning software and ships the technology to Juba where local staff can deliver the computers to schools that are ready to accept them
